Worldview Prepared

WHY STUDENTS WILL LOVE IT!

Prepared, Not Scared

Is your student prepared to stand strong and impact today’s culture with God’s truth on issues like critical race theory, radical feminism, and LGBTQ+ ideology? Without a clear understanding of these issues and how they compete with Scripture, they could fall into diabolical traps waiting for them in high school, college, and beyond. That’s why we developed Worldview Prepared, a Christian homeschool curriculum, focused on preparing teens to stand firm on their faith in this chaotic culture.

Worldview Prepared

Worldview Prepared is a Christian homeschool curriculum designed to equip teens to respond to the most influential ideas shaping their generation. Instead of being frightened or influenced by cultural pressures, your teen will learn the history, influence, and cultural impact of these movements and how to think critically about them and evaluate these ideas through the lens of a Christian Worldview.

This is more than a curriculum. Worldview Prepared will anchor their lives in God’s Word and train them to spot lies, analyze ideas, and confidently articulate truth.

QUARTER 1

The most effective way to train students to filter through the many messages they encounter daily is by teaching worldview. Our simple technique teaches students to spot ideas, categorize them, and quickly discern the Biblical ones from the anti-Biblical ones.

QUARTER 2

God’s design and order are visible throughout creation, from the universe to the binary of male and female, to His design for marriage and family. By teaching the 7 Principles of God’s Design, we demonstrate why God’s Design matters and how it is crucial to the flourishing of our families and society.

QUARTER 3

To effectively combat the ideas of culture, students must understand the ideologies they’ll encounter and know God’s truth as the response. That’s why we teach the history and cultural impact of feminism, Critical Race Theory, LGBTQ+ ideology, and more while comparing them to the Christian Worldview.

QUARTER 4

We teach students who Jesus is and why He came to earth. With the growing number of people deconstructing and the increase of progressive Christian beliefs seeping into churches, which deny Jesus’ Lordship and His death and resurrection for our sins, while pushing social justice and LGBTQ+ activism, students need to know sound theology.

This Christian homeschool curriculum trains your student to:

  • Break down these ideas logically
  • Understand where they come from
  • Compare them with Biblical truth
  • Live confidently in alignment with God’s Word

“I can say with confidence that Worldview Prepared is one of the most comprehensive and urgently needed discipleship tools for students, and the church, today.”

– JOHN BORNSCHEIN, SENIOR PASTOR

“This Bible-centered curriculum helps students understand the Christian worldview and it’s not-so-faith-friendly competitors, evaluate competing and worldly concepts of God, and analyze why and how the Postmodern Worldview departs from the Christian Worldview, all while teaching and reinforcing your students’ theological fluency. A must-have resource for parents who want their kids to avoid being taken captive by the false philosophies of today.”

– LORI MORROW, WOMEN IN APOLOGETICS

“Andrea has done a masterful job of creating a comprehensive, Christ–focused culture and worldview curriculum that equips students to have meaningful, biblically sound conversations with each other and those they seek to engage with the Gospel and the hot-button worldview and cultural topics of today.”

– REBECCA LECOMPTE, HOMESCHOOL MOM

Questions & Answers

WHICH OF YOUR THREE CURRICULUMS SHOULD I PICK?
  1. WORLDVIEW PREPARED was designed for teens 14+ based on levels of maturity, reading comprehension, and ability to complete extensive critical thinking and apologetic development writing exercises within the curriculum. Maturity level is a consideration for the topics of radical feminism, gender and sexual ideology (LGBTQ+), and critical race theory. Teens will be able to complete this curriculum either as a self-study, or in a homeschool co-op, private school classroom, or youth ministry setting.
  2. THEOLOGY PREPPED was designed for kids 10 to 13 based on reading and maturity levels. This curriculum has been modified from Worldview Prepared’s Theology quarter, to ensure learning activities are appropriate for this age group. The student’s age and reading comprehension levels will determine if the curriculum should be parent-led, teacher-led, or self-study.
  3. WORLDVIEW PREPPED was designed for kids 10 to 13 based on reading and maturity levels. This curriculum has been modified from Worldview Prepared’s Worldview quarter to ensure content is appropriate for this age group. The student’s age and reading comprehension levels will determine if the curriculum should be parent-led, teacher-led, or self-study.
IF MY CHILD IS YOUNGER THAN 14, IS WORLDVIEW PREPARED APPROPRIATE?

If your student is younger than 14 and you believe your child is ready for this curriculum, then you are the best person to determine that. We have taught our children these topics as early as 10 and 11, so we understand that depending on family dynamics, values like protecting a child’s innocence versus preparing them for the world, reading comprehension, and maturity levels, you may decide your child is ready earlier. If so, we would just recommend reading the material in advance first, especially the Culture quarter, to ensure you are comfortable with your student’s access to the content. Feel free to skip lessons as needed. You can always return to them when you feel your child is ready.

DO I NEED TO GET ALL THREE CURRICULUMS (WORLDVIEW PREPARED, THEOLOGY PREPPED, AND WORLDVIEW PREPPED) FOR MY CHILD?

No, you will not need to purchase all three curriculums for one student. Worldview Prepared has EVERYTHING in it that Worldview Prepped and Theology Prepped includes, plus it includes quarters focused on God’s Design and Culture.

If you are purchasing Worldview Prepped or Theology Prepped, then you may want to purchase both curriculums if you want your student to have both Worldview and Theology training.

WHAT DENOMINATION IS TAUGHT?

This curriculum does not have denominational leanings. It was designed to educate on the primary doctrines of the Christian faith. The only topic that is taught in Worldview Prepared that some consider a secondary or tertiary doctrinal issue is that of complementarianism. Given that the Postmodern Worldview is focused on “tearing down power structures,” which takes aim at the family structure and biblical roles of husbands and wives, this curriculum does reinforce a complementary position.

HOW LONG IS THE CURRICULUM?

The curriculum is a 36-week study, with 5 lessons per week.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES EACH LESSON TAKE TO COMPLETE?

The majority of lessons are two pages. Daily lessons may take between 10-15 minutes to complete. For Quarter 1 and 2, weekly assignments found on Day 5, called Learning in Actions, may take 15-45 minutes to complete depending on the week. For Quarter 3 and 4, these assignments may increase to upwards of an hour as more writing is involved.

DO I NEED EXTRA SUPPLIES FOR THIS CURRICULUM?

Besides this curriculum and a Bible, students will need a spiral notebook to write down their responses to the learning activities, as they may need more space to write than what is provided in the workbook.

IS THIS CURRICULUM A SELF-STUDY OR A GROUP STUDY?

This curriculum is designed to work either as a self-study or a group study. It can be used for a homeschooler, a homeschool co-op, a private school, a youth and children’s group ministry, as a public school after-school study, or a family discipleship study.

For self-study, this curriculum is “open and go,” meaning that no preparation is required before starting each lesson.

For those who are teaching the curriculum in a group setting or for a parent leading their student in this curriculum at home, a free downloadable Teacher Guide is available that includes weekly student activities to reinforce learning. These activities can be completed by individual students or in groups depending on how the curriculum is being taught.

CAN I MAKE COPIES OF THE CURRICULUM?

If you purchase this curriculum for your family, you may make copies of lessons only for those children that live in your home. Otherwise, copies are not permissible.

If you are using this curriculum for a Homeschool Coop, Private School, or Youth/Children’s Ministry, then each student should have a purchased copy of their own curriculum workbook, unless you have licensed the material from us. Otherwise, copies are not permissible. To learn more about licensing the material, please email us at support@genuinefamilyministries.com.

ARE INDIVIDUAL DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE?

We want as many families as possible to have access to this curriculum. If you want to participate in our program to receive discounts on the curriculum by sharing and promoting the curriculum with others, then reach out by email at support@genuinefamilyministries to learn more about our program details.

ARE GROUP DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE?

Yes, if you are teaching this curriculum in a Homeschool Coop, Private School, or Youth/Children’s Ministry setting, then we do have group purchase discounts available. You may email us at support@genuinefamilyministries.com to learn more.

I want to purchase multiple curriculums but the system is only allowing me to purchase one at a time. Why is this?

Our printing company (Ingram Spark) only prints quantities on demand and our curriculums, at times, are printed at different locations. While you are able to order multiple quantities of the same curriculum in one order/shipment, they are unable to bundle different curriculums together and ship them. To save on shipping and get your orders combined, you can purchase our curriculums on Amazon. You can either search for each individual curriculum title or you can search “Andrea Crum” to view all three curriculums on Amazon.

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?

Unfortunately, as a small ministry, we are unable to accept returns. If you find the curriculum is not right for your student for any reason, then we suggest gifting it to another Christian family or to your church as an educational resource.
