GENUINE FAMILY MINISTRIES

As the parents of two teen boys, Matt and Andrea Crum know firsthand the struggles of navigating the cultural challenges being thrown our kids’ way. Teaching students’ biblical truth, God’s design, and guiding them through the treacherous identity and other culture conversations that are more and more prevalent these days can be overwhelming and exhausting. That’s why they founded Genuine Family Ministries (GFM) to educate and encourage families to stand firm on their faith in these tough cultural times with support and resources including Christian curriculums for kids and teens.

At Genuine Family Ministries, Matt and Andrea believe it’s imperative to not only teach the Biblical Worldview, but also the Postmodern Worldview of radical feminism, LGBTQ+ ideology, critical race theory, and progressive christianity, so that students learn how to use critical thinking skills and discern between the truth of God’s Word and the false ideas of this world.

As the Executive Director of Genuine Family Ministries and head of their CARE ministry, Matt leads the ministry and his family with Biblical faithfulness and integrity. Matt has held various roles in the church from Bible teacher, to deacon, to men’s discipleship leader, and is a graduate of Iron Men of God. He’s a devoted husband, father, and the Crum family’s IT guy. He daily demonstrates servant leadership to his family showing abundant love to his wife and boys, and providing daily comedy that keeps the Crum’s laughing.

Curriculum by Andrea Crum includes Worldview Prepared, Worldview Prepped, and Theology Prepped for both teens and kids. With a focus on biblical worldview, theology, and apologetics, Andrea equips students with biblical truth for navigating today’s cultural chaos. Andrea provides students with the knowledge, insights, critical thinking and apologetic development skills they need to stand up, stand out, and stand apart as Christ followers in a confused culture. Andrea is also the author of Christ over Culture: Raising Christian Kids to Stand in a Postmodern World and a graduate of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview.
